Cold Stone Creamery

Cold Stone Creamery is a multi-national ice cream franchise known for their unique presentation of custom, hand-mixed treats prepared on a frozen granite stone. Due to their existing dated parlour interior look and lack of differentiation in the marketplace, the Cold Stone Creamery brand was underperforming and failing to captivate a new generation of ice cream lovers.
In order to reflect the zany, playful and wondrous “create-your-own” ice cream treat experience, the brand needed to express a more lively character. The name was simplified to form a more recognizable signature, while the custom type style embodies tasty melting ice cream. The complementary modular pattern connects the brand applications and represents the mixed ingredients. A new social media plan was also established to better communicate the offer and branding to the new younger demographic.
